You set your own prices on Pickup. We never set, raise or discount them for you, and there is no surge pricing on the platform.
Where your rate lives
Each trip you offer has its own price. This is what you want to earn, before extras or discounts. You enter it in naira when you create the listing, and you can change it at any time. The app works out the all in price guests see, and shows both: You earn ₦X · Guests see ₦Y.
- Cars: by the hour, airport pickup, airport drop off, full day, interstate and long-term hire. A full day counts as 12 hours.
- Boats: by the hour or per guest, for by the hour, sunset cruise, day cruise, island drop and water transfer.
- Jets: per flight hour or per passenger, with waiting on the ground, positioning and crew overnight.
Set or change your rate
- Open Listings and choose the listing.
- Tap Services and prices (Trip types and prices for boats, Pricing for jets).
- Turn the trip on and enter what you want to earn.
- Set the hours where asked. See Booking duration limits.
- Tap Save.
New rates apply to new bookings. A booking already confirmed keeps the price the guest agreed at checkout.
What to include in your rate
Your rate should cover the full service: the vehicle, vessel or aircraft, your chauffeur or crew, fuel and your running costs. Guests expect the price shown at checkout to be the price charged, so avoid adding costs later.
If you offer something that is genuinely separate, such as a child seat or catering, list it as an extra instead. See Adding extras.
You set what you earn
Because you enter your payout, you do not need to work out the commission yourself. A commission applies to completed bookings, at the rate in your Fee Schedule. Check the Guests see figure to make sure your all in price is competitive. See Commission and fees.
Pricing well
- Look at comparable listings in your city and vertical.
- Price for the level of service you actually deliver.
- Use discounts to attract longer bookings rather than lowering your base rate.
- Use date prices for dates you know will differ, such as a public holiday.
For how pricing fits your wider obligations, read the Operator Agreement.
