The right car makes arrival easy. Plan for your bags as well as your passengers.
Choose the right vehicle
- Add your large bags and cabin bags when you search. The app shows SUVs and vans with enough boot space if you have several.
- Check the number of large bags on the listing, and look at the photos.
- An SUV or people carrier usually carries more than a saloon.
- If you are unsure, tap Message operator on the listing before you book.
Tell your operator what you are carrying
Message your operator with the number and size of bags, and anything unusual such as golf clubs, sports equipment, a pushchair or a wheelchair. If you need space for a wheelchair, set it in Personal details > Accessibility needs too.
On the day
- Your chauffeur may help load and unload your bags. Keep valuables, documents and medicines with you.
- Check the boot and seats before you leave the car.
- The chauffeur can refuse luggage that does not fit safely or that is not permitted.
Items that cannot be carried
Some items are not allowed on any trip. See What is not allowed on a trip?
Connecting to a charter flight
Aircraft have strict weight and space limits. Tell your aviation operator your baggage in advance. See Rules for private jet passengers.
Left something behind?
Open the trip in Trips and tap Report a lost item straight away. See How to find something you left behind.
