Your chauffeur or crew waits at the pickup point for the waiting time shown on the listing. If no traveller arrives within that time and they cannot reach you through the app, they may record a no show and leave.
What a no show means
A no show is treated as a cancellation at the scheduled start, with no refund, under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. This is because the operator kept the car, boat or aircraft and crew for you. On a car trip, the road levy still comes back.
How to avoid a no show
- Be at the pickup point at the booked time. See Being ready on time for your pickup.
- Keep notifications on so you see messages from your chauffeur.
- If you are running late, message the chauffeur in the app straight away. Any charge for extra waiting is agreed in the app and paid only through Pickup.
- If you cannot make it, cancel as early as you can. Cancelling before the notice window gives a full refund, less processing costs.
If the chauffeur went to the wrong place
If the chauffeur or crew went to the wrong pickup point, it is treated as the operator's failure, not your no show. Report it in the app as soon as you can, and include the pickup point on your booking. See If your chauffeur is late or has not arrived.
If you think a no show was recorded wrongly
Tell Pickup support, with your booking reference and any evidence, such as your location or messages. We review the trip record with the operator. See How to raise a dispute.
