Adding chauffeurs and crew

Every trip on Pickup is delivered by a professional you choose, pay and manage. You invite them to your business in the app. Only verified crew can be assigned to a booking.

Who you need to add

• Cars. Every chauffeur, with an NIN check and selfie match, a valid FRSC driver's licence, a photo and your confirmation that they work for you. They must be 21 or over and a Nigerian citizen. The LASDRI card is optional for now.
• Vessels. A captain with a NIMASA certificate of competency and a seafarer medical, plus crew with an NIN and a seafarer medical.
• Aircraft. Pilots with an NCAA licence, a medical and a type rating, and cabin crew with an attestation.

Each person completes an identity check through our licensed identity partner, or a manual review of two photos by trained staff.

Add a chauffeur or crew member

1. Open Menu, then Your crew.
2. Tap Invite crew.
3. Choose their role, and enter their email address and phone number.
4. Tap Send invite. We email them a link and an invite code. The code lasts 7 days, and you can copy it or resend it.
5. They sign up with the link or the code, upload their papers and complete their identity check.
6. We tell you when they are verified and ready. They can then be assigned to trips.

Your crew shows each person's status, documents, assigned listings and upcoming trips.

Keeping your crew current

• Tap Remove from your crew when someone stops working for you. Their upcoming trips need someone else first.
• Renewed licences are uploaded by the crew member in their own login, and Pickup checks them. You can Send a reminder when one is close to expiry.
• A crew member with expired papers can't be assigned to new trips. Change the crew on any trip they already have.
• Never send a person who is not assigned in the app.
