Every Pickup trip is delivered by a professional. Your chauffeur, captain or flight crew works for an independent licensed operator, and the same standard of respect applies in both directions.
What we ask of you
- Treat your chauffeur, crew and fellow guests with courtesy. Abuse, threats, harassment and discrimination are not tolerated.
- Follow reasonable safety instructions. On the road, wear a seatbelt. On the water, wear your life jacket at all times. In the air, follow the crew's briefing.
- Do not ask your chauffeur to break traffic law, speed or stop where it is unsafe.
- Keep to the route, stops and timings you booked. Changes go through the app so they are recorded. See How to change a booking.
- Respect the vehicle, vessel or aircraft as you would a private home.
Who is responsible for your guests
You are responsible for everyone you add to your booking. Make sure they know the plan, the pickup point and these standards before the day. See How to add guests to your booking.
When conduct becomes a problem
Your operator may end a trip early if a guest's behaviour puts people, the vehicle, vessel or aircraft at risk. The captain of a vessel and the pilot in command of an aircraft have final authority on board. If the operator cancels before the trip because you broke the rules, your own cancellation option applies. A case opens, and the operator's money is held until Pickup checks. If a trip ends early because of guest conduct, the part not delivered is not refunded. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy and Guest Terms.
Serious or repeated breaches can lead to your Pickup account being suspended or closed.
If something feels wrong
Conduct standards apply to operators too. If a chauffeur or crew member behaves unprofessionally, tell us. See How to report a safety issue or What to expect from your chauffeur.
