How to book a chauffeur in Lagos

Every car on Pickup comes with a professional chauffeur provided by a verified, licensed operator. You choose the car and the time. Your operator handles the driving.

Find a car

1. Open the app and tap Search.
2. Select the car icon at the top of the screen.
3. Under What kind of trip?, choose By the hour, Airport transfer or Interstate. Each one asks only what it needs.
4. Add the details. By the hour asks for your pickup, the date, a start time and how long, with no destination or return time. An airport transfer asks which way you are going and your flight. Interstate asks for your route and dates.
5. Add the number of people under Who's travelling?, then tap Search.

Tap Filters to narrow the results by price, vehicle type, seats, year and more.

Check the listing

Each listing shows photos, features, the operator's profile and reviews, the price for your trip and its cancellation option. Read these before you book. Prices include all fees, and the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Book

The button on the listing changes as you go:

• Check availability: you have not added your trip yet.
• Change dates: the car is not free at the time you chose.
• Reserve: the listing has instant confirmation. You are booked as soon as payment clears, and you see You're booked.
• Request to book: the operator must accept. They have 12 hours from your request, or until 2 hours before the start if that is sooner. You see Request sent, and the trip shows Waiting for operator. You get Booking confirmed once they accept. If they do not accept in time, you get a full refund.

At checkout you can add extras, say who is travelling, use a promo code or credit, and choose how to pay. The total matches the listing price for the same trip details. Price details shows the trip price, the service fee, VAT on the service fee and the road levy where it applies, before you pay.

Before the trip

Open Trips to see your trip details. Your chauffeur is assigned after you book. Their name, photo and plate appear before the trip, and the app shows you by when. If the operator changes your chauffeur, the new chauffeur is verified and you are told in the app.

Need to make changes?

Open the trip in Trips and tap Change reservation or Cancel reservation. On the day, tap Extend the trip for more time. See How to change a booking and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
