Planning your trip: a checklist

Good trips are planned. A few minutes before you book saves time on the day.

Before you book

• Know your numbers. Count every passenger and estimate luggage. Choose a listing with room for both.
• Set realistic times. Allow for Lagos traffic between stops. For boats, keep the whole trip in daylight.
• Read the listing. Check features, the operator's reviews and the cancellation option.
• Check your documents. Aircraft and vessel operators may ask for ID for every passenger.

At checkout

1. Tap Change on any trip detail that needs changing.
2. Complete Who's travelling, and add other guests.
3. Add extras you need under Extras, such as a security add on.
4. Add a promo code or credit if you have one.
5. Check the total, which already includes Pickup's service fee and VAT, then pay.

After you book

• Message your operator with anything they should know: access details, special occasions.
• Set any accessibility needs in Profile > Personal details > Accessibility needs.
• Check your chauffeur's name, photo and plate in your trip details before pickup.
• Tap Share on the trip to send a live link to someone you trust.

On the day

Follow Your trip, step by step. You will see when your chauffeur is assigned, on the way and arrived. Be ready at the pickup point on time; the listing sets out the waiting time.

Need to make changes?

You can change, extend or cancel from your trip in Trips, subject to the listing's cancellation option and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
