Booking Pickup as an international visitor

Guests visiting Nigeria can book on Pickup like anyone else. A few details are different.

Verifying without a Nigerian ID

You do not need a NIN to book as a guest. During verification:

1. Choose the country that issued your document.
2. Choose Passport. Any passport works, for cars, boats and jets. Some countries have other IDs we can check, and the app shows them.
3. Scan the photo page, then take your selfie, or send photos for review.

Use the name exactly as it appears in your passport. It should match the name on any flight or charter manifest.

Phone numbers

You add a phone number when you sign up, and any country's number works. Pick your country code in the phone number field. No code is sent to it. Phone numbers stay hidden until 1 hour before your trip starts. They are visible to you and your chauffeur or crew lead during the trip, and hidden again 1 hour after it ends. Outside that window, use in app messages, and after the trip, Get help on the trip.

Paying from abroad

You pay in naira. Go to Profile > Currency to show prices in your own currency, converted at today's rate to help you compare. Your receipt is in naira, and your bank converts the payment. Cards are handled by Flutterwave, our licensed payment provider, and your bank may need to approve the payment. See Paying with a card issued abroad, and seeing prices in your currency.

Private jet travel across borders

For international charter flights:

• Every passenger needs a passport valid for at least 6 months after the flight and any visas required at the destination.
• International flights need at least 72 hours' notice, so the operator can get landing and overflight permits.
• You add each passenger's details to the manifest.
• Immigration, customs and health requirements are set by the authorities at each end. Check them before you travel.

The operator can refuse boarding to a passenger without valid documents. See Rules for private jet passengers.

Arriving by air
