You can delete your Pickup account from the app. It takes effect at once and cannot be undone. The full details, including what the law requires us to keep, are on Delete your Pickup Charter account.

Before you delete

Three things stop you deleting: an active booking, a crew trip you are assigned to, or an open case you opened. The app tells you which one applies.

  • Finish or cancel any upcoming trips. Cancellations follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • Wait for any case you opened to close.
  • Download any receipts you need from Wallet and payments > Receipts.
  • Use any wallet credit. It is lost when you delete your account, and it cannot be recovered.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
  2. Tap Security.
  3. Under Danger zone, tap Delete my account.
  4. Enter the code we email you. This is the same however you sign in.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm.
  6. Tap Delete.

You are signed out and your access ends straight away.

Operators and crew. The steps differ by mode. Operators close the operator account first. Crew close the crew record first. Each then deletes the guest account as above. See Delete your Pickup Charter account.

Delete your account without the app

If you have deleted the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@pickupltd.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We confirm it is you, then delete the account and email you when it is done.

What happens to your data

Deleting erases your name, phone number, date of birth, photo, home address, marketing data and sign-in links. Any copies left go within 30 days. Financial, booking, tax and anti money laundering records stay for 5 years, as the law requires. See clause 11 of the Privacy Policy.

Changed your mind?

Deletion cannot be undone. You would need to create a new account and verify your identity again. See How to create a Pickup account.

The full rules are in Data Protection: Your Rights.
