Pickup Charter is a marketplace for chauffeur driven cars, crewed boats and yachts, and private jet charter. Licensed operators list their service. Guests book it. You deliver the trip with your own chauffeurs, captains or flight crew.
Who can join
Pickup works only with companies registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), from a business with one car to a fleet. Individuals are not onboarded. Your company is the operator. You control hiring, pay and shifts, and you decide which trips to accept.
Every listing comes with a professional operator. Pickup does not list vehicles, vessels or aircraft for guests to operate themselves.
What you need
Have these ready before you start:
- Your CAC registration number and your company TIN
- The BVN of a director or authorised signatory
- The NIN and BVN of the person verifying for your company, for a live selfie check or a manual review of two photos
- The licences for what you run: a commercial vehicle licence for cars, a LASWA permit and a NIWA or NIMASA licence for boats, an NCAA Air Operator's Certificate and operations specifications for jets
- Your own commercial insurance for every asset you list
- A Nigerian bank account in your company's registered name for payouts
The full list is in the Operator verification guide.
The path to going live
- Create your account in the Pickup Charter app. If you don't have the app yet, join the waitlist.
- On your guest Profile, tap List your business on Pickup, then Get started.
- Part 1, Tell us about your business. Your state, your CAC record, a director's BVN and your brand.
- Part 2, Show you're licensed. Your licences, your identity check and your company documents.
- Part 3, Get paid and go live. Your payout account and the Operator Master Agreement.
- Under Review and submit, tick the box and submit.
- Add your first car, boat or aircraft. You can build listings while setup is open. They go live once it is done.
Pickup checks your company first, then each listing before it goes live. Most company checks finish within a few business days. A listing is usually checked within 2 business days.
Where we operate
Pickup is live in Lagos first. If you choose a state that is not live yet, you can finish signing up and build listings now. Your documents are held for verification ahead of our launch there. Your listings show Waiting for launch and go live the day we launch in your state, and we tell you first.
Car operators in Lagos work under Pickup's Service Entity Permit, and still hold their own commercial transport and vehicle licences. Regulatory Information shows the permit's current status.
Read the Operator Agreement before you apply, then start with Creating your operator account.
