No. If you met a guest through Pickup, every booking with them, and every payment for it, must go through Pickup for 12 months from your last contact or message through Pickup.
What counts as going around Pickup
- Offering a guest a direct booking, a discount for paying you directly, or your personal number to book next time.
- Taking cash, a transfer or any payment outside the app for a booking or anything linked to it, including waiting time, fuel, tolls, extensions or extras.
- Agreeing an extension with the guest without recording it in the app.
Why the rule exists
Trips off the platform have no payment record, no trip record, no verified crew check and no dispute process. If something goes wrong, neither you nor the guest can use the platform's rules to settle it.
If a guest asks
Say that bookings and payments go through the app. See A guest asks to pay outside Pickup.
What happens if you do
Going around the platform is a serious breach. It can lead to suspension or removal, and Pickup may recover the commission it can show it would have earned on those bookings, after giving you written notice and the chance to respond.
The full rules are in the Off Platform Booking Policy and the Operator Agreement.
