Pricing your service

How pricing works for Pickup operators: what you earn, trip types, discounts, extras and date prices, what the guest pays and what you receive.

3 min readUpdated 2 November 2026For operators

You set your prices. Pickup never changes them and never applies surge pricing.

What you set

  • Services and prices. What you want to earn for each trip you offer, for example per hour. The editor shows You earn ₦X · Guests see ₦Y.
  • Duration limits. The shortest and longest hourly trip, and your Longest booking in Calendar settings.
  • Longer-trip prices and discounts. Lower prices for longer trips, weekdays, early booking or last minute.
  • Custom quotes. A price for one guest's trip, sent in Messages.
  • Extras. Add ons such as a child seat or an unarmed security escort from an NSCDC licensed company.
  • Date prices. Higher or lower prices on specific dates, set in advance in your calendar.

What the guest pays

The guest sees one complete price on your listing, which includes your price, Pickup's service fee, VAT on that fee and any road levy. Checkout matches it for the same trip details, with nothing added.

What you receive

The amount you set, by transfer 1 hour after the trip ends (for a jet, 1 hour after landing). Long bookings pay weekly, and a flagged booking or an open case can hold it. Every booking shows your payout and when it is released. See How payouts work.

A commission applies to completed bookings, at the rate in your Fee Schedule. It already includes VAT, and nothing is added on top. Pickup gives at least 30 days' notice before a rate changes. Your monthly statement shows the commission and the VAT inside it. There is no listing fee.

The guest's service fee is part of the total the guest sees and does not come out of your payout.

Set your price

  1. Open Listings and choose the listing.
  2. Tap Services and prices (Trip types and prices for boats, Pricing for jets).
  3. Turn on a trip and enter what you want to earn.
  4. Tap Save.

Pricing well

  • Check what similar listings charge.
  • Include everything your chauffeur or crew needs, such as fuel and waiting time, so there is nothing to add later.
  • Never ask a guest for cash or extra payment outside the app.
