How do corporate bookings and event support work?

What changes when a company books a trip or an event on Pickup: invoicing, multiple travellers, and dedicated event support.

Companies can have a corporate account with Pickup. For you, a corporate booking works like any other booking: you set the price, accept the request and deliver the trip.

What is different

  • Bookers and travellers. A person at the company may book for several travellers. The lead guest's details are on the booking.
  • Invoicing. The trip is paid on Pickup, then goes on the company's account, and Pickup invoices the company. Your payout works exactly as for any other booking. A corporate guest may deduct withholding tax from Pickup's service fees and sends Pickup the credit note. This does not touch your payout.
  • Several vehicles. Events often need several cars or boats at once. Each is a separate booking with its own crew assignment and payout.

Dedicated event support

For a large corporate event, Pickup may agree in writing with the company to provide dedicated support for the event dates and hours. If an event you serve has dedicated support, we tell you how to reach it. Outside such an agreement, normal operator support applies.

Tips for event days

  • Confirm crew assignments early and keep them current in the app.
  • Agree pickup points and timings in the app, not by phone alone.
  • Watch the chauffeur driving hour limits on long event days. See How long can one chauffeur drive in a day?.

The rules are in the Corporate Terms and the Operator Agreement.
